Updating Faculty Profiles.....Coming Soon
IIS is committed to recruiting only faculty members who are passionate, nurturing and “think outside of the box”.
Our teachers’ creativity and zest for teaching make our learning environment truly special. Team-building activities, social skills and confidence enhancement, as well as incidental teaching methods are only a few facets of their skills sets.
Our educators undergo professional development every term to continue our high standards of teaching and to keep up to date with latest advances in education.

IIS is cultually sensitive and exposes students to a range of cultural traditions.
Our faculty originate from a range of countries and we are always welcoming others to our multi-cultural team. IIS teachers are not only excellent educators, but also mentors, who students can approach for guidance and support.
Our Support Services:
Behavior Specialists: Our Psychologists and Therapists implement a spectrum of behavioral, empirically sound approaches rather than to use a one set approach. This tailored approach results in individualised, positive and effective intervention programmes in the school setting.
Our Therapists work with students in all of our streams to create a safe environment through settling strategies and behavior modification plans. Students use these services to regulate their behaviors so they can rejoin the learning environment when it becomes too overwhelming or challenging. This service is accessible to all children who may benefit from it at no extra cost.
Counselling:
Offering students both individual and group counselling, our counselling services focus on helping students regulate their emotions through identifying their feelings and helping them to appropriately express themselves. These services promote positive social interaction between students and other individuals. They also develop students’ self-awareness and mindfulness skills, play and leisure skills, and problem-solving skills. Finally, they enable students to recognise and select an appropriate coping strategy.
Remedial Tuition:
The Director of Remedial Services at IIS is in charge of offering a range of after-school remedial tuition services taught by our special educators. These tuition services can target a variety of learning difficulties such as reading, writing, spelling, comprehension, mathematics and processing speed. Some of these after-school tuition services may be chargeable.
